This policy outlines the terms for cancellations and refunds for services booked with TESCO Skip Bins. It should be read in conjunction with our main Terms and Conditions.

1. Customer Right to Cancel

You may cancel your skip bin booking by contacting us directly by phone. The following conditions apply based on the notice provided:

  • Cancellation more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date:
    • You are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid.
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date:
    • A cancellation fee of AUD $50.00 will be deducted from your refund to cover administrative and logistical costs.
  • Cancellation after our truck has been dispatched for delivery on the scheduled day:
    • No refund will be issued. The full booking fee is payable to cover the cost of fuel, labor, and the reserved bin.
  • Cancellation due to access issues:
    • If we are unable to complete delivery due to unsafe or inadequate property access, or if a required council permit has not been obtained, this will be treated as a cancellation after dispatch, and no refund will be provided.

2. Service Failures by TESCO Skip Bins

If we are unable to deliver your skip bin on the agreed date for reasons within our control, you are entitled to:

  • Reschedule delivery for the next available date at no additional charge, OR
  • Cancel the order and receive a full refund.

3. Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. This policy does not limit your statutory rights. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

4. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

All requests must be made by calling our 24/7 phone line at +04 3595 2888. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.
